I was born in America but raised on the small island of Penang, Malaysia. From a young age, I was captivated by the magic of television and obsessed with the ‘Making Of’ and ‘Behind the Scenes’ features of anything that sparked my curiosity. I spent countless hours drawing comics, writing short stories, and experimenting with stop-motion shorts on my camera. Every form of storytelling intrigued me—from 2D animation to live action. I vividly remember puzzling over how Christopher Reeve flew in Superman, discovering claymation through Chicken Run, and being amazed by the painstaking detail of Sully’s fur in Monsters, Inc.
 

As I grew older, my curiosity only deepened, and I realized that not everyone shared this same passion for film and television. That was when I knew I wanted to make a career in the industry. I studied Basic Arts for two years before moving back to the U.S., where I attended a trade school for Visual Effects and Animation and discovered my path in Compositing. But this is only the beginning—I aspire to keep growing as an artist and explore other areas of production.
